Q: What are the vaccines needed for a pet moving to Thailand?

A: Pets must be vaccinated against Rabies and Leptospirosis not less than 21 days prior to the departure. In addition, pet shall be vaccinated against other significant infectious diseases i.e. Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvovirus, at least 21 days prior to the departure.

           
 ***1) Pets from free of Rabies certified country do not need a Rabies vaccination.
       2) The negative result of Leptospirosis test during 30 days prior to the departure can also fulfill the requirement.

A: Documents you need depends on the requirements of country of destination which vary in different countries, thus, it is necessary to contact the authorized body of country of destination to make sure you are aware of the import regulations.
